Quran says....

As Salaamu Alaikum!

A true believer lives his/her life in such a way which teaches others how to die, and dies in such a way that teaches others how to live...

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit there from, they will say, This is what we were provided with before. And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:25)

‎"So lose not heart, nor fall into despair, for you will be superior if you are true in faith." Qur'an 3:139
Quran itself preaches many good things as it is a solution for humanity and a man can be completely guided through the teachings of Quran. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala confirss in Quran that He had revealed it and will guard it from corruption.
Quran 15:9
"Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian."

Quran says call to your Lord, in other words, pray to Him:
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you."
[Surah Al-Ghaafir (40): 60]

Quran says that you must worship Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and be kind to your parents and pray for them.
(17:23-24):

"Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor. And out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: ‘My Lord! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood' "

Quran also says that you must Thank Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala  and obey your parents, but what if a person's parents are non believers or they are asking him/her to join partners with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala? The answer is given in the Quran itself.
(31:14-15):
"We have enjoined on man and woman (to be good) to his/her parents; show gratitude to Me and to thy parents; to Me is (thy final) Goal. If they (parents) strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration)and follow the way of those who turn to Me (in love)"

Quran says be truthful:
Quran 2:42
"And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]."

Quran says Give Charity:
Quran 2:43
And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].

Quran says Be Good To People:
Quran 2:83
"And [recall] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], "Do not worship except Allah ; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing. "
